FPC team works in New Orleans          Listen here to radio programs about our experience

15 members, friends and youth from First Parish Church spent April school vacation week in New Orleans, working to help repair the ravages of Hurricane Katrina. The group did painting and carpentry projects organized through the UU churches there. Here are some scenes from their week:

The group wore their FPC T-shirts to an Earth Day service with New Orleans UU churches. And then there was a picnic, with crawfish. House with FEMA trailer. Team members worked to get the house ready for the owner to move in.
